Ronda Rousey was having a really good night in Rosemont, Illinois on June 17 at Money in the Bank. Sure, she was getting thrown around the ring like a proverbial ragdoll by Nia Jax, but the comeback was going well... until Alexa Bliss and her freshly won briefcase hit the ring, and hit Rousey in the back.
Bliss went on to cash-in on Jax and reclaim the Raw Women’s Championship, and of course came out to start the June 18 edition of WWE’s flagship show with a promo to gloat. That led to Nia Jax getting her rematch booked for Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh on July 22.
And that was when Rowdy’d heard enough.
There was no talking her down, as even her WrestleMania tag partner and assorted officials couldn’t calm Rousey as she threw bodies around, punched the champ right in the babymaker and talked a whole lot of $#!+ while doing it...
Did @RondaRousey just go TOO FAR in destroying @AlexaBliss_WWE's championship celebration on #RAW?! pic.twitter.com/6kpLUkT41U

That left Kurt Angle with no choice but to put on his General Manager/angry dad hat and lay down the law...
BREAKING: #RAW General Manager @RealKurtAngle has suspended @RondaRousey for 30 DAYS! pic.twitter.com/qnXwT5URTV

Barring Constable Corbin getting involved to overrule (and seeing as his benefactor Stephanie McMahon is no kayfabe friend of Rousey’s, that seems unlikely) this will take Ronda off the table for Extreme Rules.
.@AlexaBliss_WWE has thirty days before @RondaRousey comes looking for her!

Good luck... #RAW pic.twitter.com/VIkrqCFIo9
And set things up nicely for her to come back even angrier for a title shot at SummerSlam.
